Little Library Litter Picking Morning

Join the Library team and The Clean Earth Trust for a fun and educational morning all about litter and the environment.

The Library has teamed up with The Clean Earth Trust for a special litter picking morning incorporating educational activities, a 'womble' around Town, arts & crafts, and a story time focused on the environment.

This session is for 5-7 year-olds. There's another session on Thursday for 8-10 year-olds.

Meet at the Library at 10.00 for an introductory session of fun facts and quizzes. We'll then head off for a 40-minute litter pick around Town (with parents/carers) and learn how to borrow litter pickers with your library card. On our return, we'll review what you've found, enjoy some stories and then get stuck into some arts & crafts to upcycle the litter that we've found!

The litter pick will take place if it's wet, so please dress accordingly! However, we do have some alternative indoor activities if the rain is torrential.
