Your library card gives you 24/7 access to thousands of digital newspapers and magazines through PressReader. Read newspapers like the Guardian, the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail, and popular magazines like The Economist, Hello, and the Radio Times.
There are two ways to use PressReader:

How to log in to PressReader
- Download the app from your app store.
- Tap the 'sign in' button at the bottom of the screen (if you're in Guernsey, you may have to close the 'HotSpot' pop up first).
- Tap the 'Libraries & Groups' option.
- Tap the drop down and type in 'Guernsey' - the Guille-Allès Library will show at the top. Select that option.
- Enter your library card number and PIN. If you're unsure or you need a reminder, email us [email protected]
- If it's your first time using the app, you'll need to register. Enter your details - make up a password that includes a capital letter, number and special character.
- Agree to the terms and conditions.
- You're now ready to browse, download and read.
- You should only have to follow the above steps once. After that, the app will remember your details, though it will ask you to log in again every 30 days - using just your library card number and PIN. Keep these details handy to continue enjoying free access to PressReader.
