*SOLD OUT* Living History tour of the Library
Tour the Library with one of our 'original' staff!
On Tuesday 19 & Thursday 21 November one of our original staff, Library Assistant Miss Towten, will lead a guided tour of the iconic Library building. Miss Towten is returning more than 100 years after her death to explain how her bosses Thomas Guille and Frederick Allès came to fulfil their childhood dream of opening a library in Guernsey.
The tour will take in the whole building, telling stories from the Library's long history, from its earliest days in the 19th Century through the Occupation to the present day. You will also have the opportunity to see some items from the Library archive not usually available to the public.
£4 per person. Booking essential, ticket fees will go back into supporting the work of the Library. Book here.
