Late Night Opening

The Library will be open until 8pm on 8th, 15th and 22nd December as part of the festive late-night shopping in St. Peter Port.

The Christmas season can be a manic time, so this is a great opportunity to take a few minutes to browse for books to cosy up with over the holidays and get a little respite from present buying.

Library staff will be demonstrating some bookish Christmas crafts, showing you how to make shabby-chic style wreaths and Christmas trees from old books and magazines.

If you have little people to entertain the Library Elf will be reading stories on all three evenings to get you into the seasonal spirit, and there will be plenty of crafts on hand for any children who like a bit of Christmas colouring and cutting out (and who doesn’t!)
