Fab Lab workshop: Introduction to 3D modelling

Curious about 3D printing? Learn the basics at this introductory small group workshop. You'll get an overview of the Tinkercad 3D modelling software, learning how to design a simple, practical project, and then slice and print a button on the 3D printer. Depending on the time available the button may be printed on the evening to take away, or printed for collection later. A great practical way to get started with this creative technology!

This workshop is £6 per person and includes all teaching, filament and material costs.

This workshop is for people aged 9 years and above. By booking this session you agree to take full responsibility for the safety of each child in the booking whilst attending and using the machines in the Fab Lab.

Refunds - our policy is no refunds. If you cannot attend a workshop, please let us know as soon as possible so those on the waitlist can have the opportunity to come along.

Late Arrival - while it is possible to arrive more than 15 minutes late, by this time, we are getting into the content of the workshop and it's not possible to go back over what we have already covered.
