Chatterbooks

In the Story Tower on the third floor. Ages 8-12.
Fun book club for chatty kids. No need to book, just come along and join in.
Dinosaur Day

In the Hayward Room on the second floor. Ages 4-11.
Dinosaur themed stories & activities. No need to book, just come along and be ROAR-some!
Street Festival Stories
29 July-5 August 11:00-11:30
Join the Children's Team in Market Square for story time as part of the Guernsey Street Festival.
On the Saturdays the stories will be themed (29 July pirates & witches, 5 August princesses & superheroes).
Little Puffin Signing
Tuesday 1 August, 8 August, 15 August & 22 August 10:30-11:00
In the Children's Library.
There will be books, songs and toys to help with learning the signs. Ages 2-5. Book here.

Ready, teddy, go!
Friday 18 August 10:00-12:00
In the Hayward Room on the second floor. Ages 3-8.
Do you have a brave Teddy ready to take on a fur raising challenge of a lifetime? See your Teddy take on the gravity defying Teddy Bear zip wire challenge in the Hayward room this summer. Make your brave Teddy a sweatband to help them complete their challenge, and then take part in a bean bag toss and hopscotch run. Every Teddy that braves the wire will receive a medal and a challenge certificate.
No need to book, just come along and join in the fun.
