Computers and Wi-Fi
Access to our computers and Wi-Fi is FREE
There are six public computers available for anyone to use. These received an upgrade in 2024 thanks to an award from Dougie's Grant. They are fully equipped with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs.
User access to the public computers is subject to acceptable use, as defined in the ‘Policy on the Use of the Internet and Computer devices in the Library’.
Use by children under 16 years of age is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times when using the Internet service.
Filtering and Monitoring
Internet access on the public computers and Wi-Fi is filtered. Activity is also monitored and further action will be taken if a breach of the acceptable use policy is suspected.
Printing and Scanning
Print documents using our computers, or direct from your device using Princh. Our staff will be happy to help you get started.
Printing costs 20p per single sided A4 sheet in either colour or b&w, 40p for a double sided A4 sheet. Photocopying is 10p per single sided A4 sheet for b&w, and 20p per single sided A4 sheet for colour. See the full price list here. You can pay in cash, or contactless via Princh.
